Agree, your wish list of wants reveal you like a few different looks, and have worked hard to try and incorporate your favorite elements in one kitchen. List each material or finish individually, then try to gather a sample of each product, laying them out side by side and eliminating the ones which clash or just don't fit. If you want to juxtapose lots of finishes, then opt for natural tones and textures in place of colour, where you have both, eliminate the colour in favor of the marble and timber, or go with the navy blue splash back and greys in marble and joinery.

1 will look lonely and lost, unless its a stunning chandelier, while drawing attention to its self and away from the kitchen overall. Don't forget that lights are there for a purpose and 3 will provide a much more even illumination of the workspace.

No, if you replace pendants that have staggered drops, the fittings are completely removed and new pendant fittings are installed in their place. The electrician just shortens the drops without cutting them & the extra lenth is hidden away in ceiling.

Hi I agree with the above comments, you can have pendants on a 2400mm ceiling. To keep the design uncluttered, make them not too intrusive. Choose transparent open designs or clear glass or petit shades. We have got used to higher ceiling in many new builds but a lower ceiling in the kitchen area also gives you more lighting options as some pendants don't have long enough drops for higher ceilings.
