I always understood decorations should come down on Epiphany (6 Jan). I still have a couple of things to put away today. I love the decorations and the decorating but also really like that clean tidy feeling in January when you pack it all away. We took our LED icicle lights camping (we have a battery pack thing) when our teenage twin girls wanted a camping birthday sleep over with their friends, made for a very pretty birthday camp site and did not attract insects which was a definite bonus

Keep it very clean and neat Across the recess have either a walk-in shower with a 600mm opening OR a glass panel and door. You may consider a seat in the shower ( example on our website ) A recess ( niche ) for shower 300mm high max length Wall hung, all drawer vanity. In-wall cistern toilet suite. Mixer diverter, overhead and handheld shower. Quality tapware, with min 10-year warranty Porcelain floor tiles min 300 x 300. Tile to ceiling, ( unless home has high ceiling, if high, tile to an architrave height ) min tile size 600 x 300, Ceramic to rein in cost

Understanding the building timeframe will enable you to plan ahead on what you need to do. Building a house involves a lot of your time so you will want to be able to allocate time aside for it. And you will also want to be able to organise things like, when should you cancel the rent, whether you need to organise a temporary storage space, when to start packing and et cetera. The seal is for the door. The screen should work, it should be siliconed in place, it should not need to be lifted to attach anything. Unless I misunderstood your question? You should not need to ask for anything extra to stop the floor outside the shower from getting so wet. I know some shower styles are less able to contain water, but if constructed properly it should still basically be flowing back towards the drain. And if you have a hob and a screen and a door they should work very effectively if constructed properly. Having a shower built that works properly should be standard, not something you have to ask for.
