Suggestions for colour of kitchen cabinets please
Comments (2)I would personally stick to white cabinets... I know, not very original... but I think white works best with timber benchtops... and black/white/timber is a fail-proof/timesless combo imo... But if you wanted to inject a bit of colour... and based on your coastal theme description... then I would suggest maybe duck egg blue?... do a search of "duck egg blue kitchen" in photos on Houzz AU...See MoreLiving Room Style

Comments (13)A great space to work with. Begin with flipping the focus of the space on the back grey wall. That should be your centre focal point….possible wall hung tv or on an entertainment unit. The grey wall is a bit too cool in tone against the creamy tile you could repaint but I see a matching grey curtains……..if too costly add a grey/beige rug on the floor to connect them altogether. Put a 2 seater slimline couch to face the grey wall and occasional chairs on either side to zone it. The dark timber sliding door needs to be painted white or replaced with a modern glass paneled slider. I would centre up the dining table and go with glass as to make it see through and float. Remove the pendant light it is in no mans land…..lighting needs to be focused over a dining space….breakfast bar. Wall sconces could work on grey wall either side of tv for mood evening light.Remove the timber side table….to open up space to slider door so access and flow works smoothly. Remove security grills fly screen. Would be good to see the room from angle facing the other way to give complete look....See MoreSeeking styling advice for living room
Comments (12)Hello, Your rug is too small and the colour isn't working with the sofa, since your space is quite cool (aside from the timber) a transitional rug that has both grey and warm tones will pull the warm tones in and make them more intentional. Go big with your rug, the space needs anchoring so try to meet the length of your sofa, get it under the front feet. If the space is too big, get a carpet piece overlocked to size. Pair with some caramel cushions or pull a warm tone from whichever rug you choose. Get a woven or timber pendant for the kitchen bench light to balance the warmth out, something with a bit of volume. The space between the doors is perfect for a planter, don't be afraid to layer it over the art.. to an extent :)...See Moreannb1997
