Comments (10)can you build a fake wall? then it doesn't matter if waste is off centre.. as the vanity would sit just in front of the wall and they can direct the plumbing into the wall and down to the waste pipe? like you see in hotels? it also provide you with a ledge for storage.. that way you'll have a nice centred vanity?...See Morehelp! which light? need a solution to a high problem
Comments (11)Hello Queenslander! There are lots of options for wall lights. Has the builder made allowance for wall lights in the cavity? Or has he only made allowance for a recessed or flushmount ceiling light? And now that it's all framed and lined, you are probably on a tight timeframe? Have a look at flush mount ceiling lights for a raked ceiling at Fat Shack Vintage. But get the correct dimensions first and you'll probably need it to gimbal on the batten, so that it can be mounted properly on the ceiling. Alternatively, if you are looking for something a little more modern for wall lights try the brand Nordlux, available from Milton Lighting and other places in Brisbane. But you will get about 70,000 hours out of a good LED downlight - that's about 8 years without ever turning it off! Lighting is tricky! Good luck....See Moreone or two basins - 1600mm vanity
Comments (26)Hi, so sorry... new to this website and cannot figure out how to make a new comment (not tied in with anyone else's post) so that Two's Company renovations sees it! 20 mins searching still hasn't helped figure it out! Am trying to reach them but their phone number doesn't work. Does anyone know if they're still in business? Tried to send a message but the website said I'd reached my maximum of messages... but I've only ever sent one to another company. Very confusing. And no helpline for Houzz. Most strange!!! If anyone can help point me in the right direction it would be most appreciated! Thanks, Rachel 0406 968 782....See MoreEnsuite basin location.
Comments (7)<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><md>Don’t put basin against a wall. It needs some elbow room. if doing a 750 vanity and it has floor space to one side then offset to that side can look nice and balance the vanity, but need a floor plan Bigger than that I would prefer centre as two people can stand either side, his and her (her and her, he and he etc ) sides for counter space...See MoreDr Retro House Calls
