I know this is an old post but just in case anyone is still looking for Sherwin Williams Sea Salt paint...... When Wattyle were still owned by Sherwin Williams, a couple of years ago now??, I asked the Head Office of Wattyl if they could help me get some Sea Salt in Australia. I'm in Sydney and they advised I needed to find one of their stores with a Hydrochroma machine(not all of them have one) to have Sea Salt made up due to the type of tint used in the paint. They also provided the tint mix. I went to Wattyl in Brookvale and they made me up 4 litres of Sea Salt paint. It's a great colour but looks pretty bland in the tin. I don't know whether the Wattyl white base changes how it looks either. Anyway, anyone wanting Sea Salt can have it made up at the Brookvale store because they have the name and tint mix in their computer. Now they aren't owned by Sherwin Williams I don't know if they can access any other of their colours as they don't have access to their database anymore.

To get the little "seeds" to germinate, try peeling off the outer covering; then place on some soil and only half cover them. Keep an eye on them to ensure the soil remains damp and they should send a little root down and then start to sprout. I've experimented with this also using the seeds of the belladonna lilly with success. The key is to pluck the seeds when they're just ready and the outer casing is starting to dry, but the inner part is very plump and juicy. Once they dry out they aren't viable anymore. Good luck!

I'd offer a different take , and I guess it depends how 'authentic modern' you want to be , and also budget . I reckon 'just' do the garage door in charcoal ( monument ot even move towards a dark steel blue , although that may then look like a continuation of the roof colour ? ) , and the rest of the green boards in an off-white . Surfmist or similar , an off-white with a blue hint , will tie in with the roof . The awnings with the orange stripe will tie in with the paver design , the stonework is classy and neutral , so although not truly modern , its more modern and more integrated , as well as being 'budget' -- good bang for bucks ! To go more 'modern' still , you'd need to paint the blockwork in an off-white ( ruin it IMO ) , the garage boards in say a sandy tone , a cedar door , redo the drive , new awnings , frameless glass on the upper balcony , etc , etc -- it would be easy to blow $50k upwards , but I'd ask two questions -- firstly , why ? But also , how modern is the interior ? IMO its pointless making the outside look 10 years old , then walking into an interior that is still similar to 35 years ago , so all up you spend $200k , and it loses a bit of character and you don't gain much .
