I like the top right picture where the grey floor tile appears to run up the wall. But the floor tile looks lighter than the wall, is it a different tile? I would pick a lighter shade from the Kalala Shan as the 2nd tile. Does the tile shop have a contrasting colour from the same family of tiles? Not sure I would go 2 different textures, unless one was really flat and non descript to contrast with textured one that would be the stand out feature. Great colour choices though. And would look lovely coming off the spotted gum floors too!

Thank you everyone, your thoughtful advice was very welcome. I'm attaching a photo as its all finished. I selected Olive Reserve for the splash back and painted the wall above it the same colour. As its a big room with lots of light and a large window it doesn't dominate. The glass is so easy to keep clean and I love the way it reflects the garden and light. Have to say though some people are stunned into silence when they see it, but as the cupboards and bench tops are quite bland I knew something bright was needed

Colour matching is best done where you will be painting. The lighting in the Dulux Colourshop is different from your home and the colour will appear different. Are you trying to match the tile colour exactly or just complement it? Beige Royal on the Dulux Fandeck comes on the leaf that has grey/green undertone. If you are able to - go back to the colourshop and ask them for the Dulux Fandeck and/or the Dulux Colour Atlas - this will make it easier to choose a colour as not all the colours are on the display wall. Take the fandeck outside the shop and look at the colours in the outside light. Personally I would never have suggested beige Royal as a colour match for that tile. green undertones
