Congratulations. Lovely setting. I would suggest plantation shutters on the front window and a colourful pot either side of the garage with a tall plant in each. Timber front door. Small hedge along the driveway.

I think I would ask around a bit more if the roof colour is something you'd really like to change. I don't mind it, tbh. : ) It looks like some images I've seen of colorbond Sandbank, but I'm really not sure. Super easy face-lift is to paint out utility boxes and down pipe to same as existing wall colour. Paint windows architraves white. Replace awnings with light colour ones. And yes, add some colour with front door. You'll save time and money that can be put into all the things that will crop up after you move in. Establish a garden (not cheap!) so that is well on it's way for if / or when you do a full paint job. Having said all that, i found another possible colour combo if you're going to get the full works done now.

The dimensions of the room are quite small so you really don't want to introduce a colour that will make the space feel smaller - I personally would have a brilliant white, as the rays of the sun would filter through the windows, bouncing light off the walls and giving the illusion of a bigger room. I also like your idea of either a very soft grey of blue. You shared that your couch was a gun metal grey - maybe paint the wall in a softer shade of that colour to compliment!
