Frameless shower screen on a base?

Hi! Due to poor workmanship and waterproofing of the shower tiles by the previous owner, our whole ensuite floor is damaged and we have no choice but to redo the whole floor. (There's a whole plus tiles are lifting). We thought we'd upgrade the shower at the same time to get one with a base (for less cleaning and to save the problem happening again!). We like the idea of a frameless shower on a base, is this practical/widely available? We've heard Polymarble bases are preferable over Acrylic?

We are in Melbourne, VIC.

PHOTO IDEAS:

- A frameless shower screen on base idea we found off google:

- Our actual ensuite (half) pre reno, then x2 google images of frameless shower screen (one with base, one with out):

- the other side of our actual ensuite pre-reno (excuse my preggo photographer self) for anyone curious:

We will be pulling out the shower, toilet and vanity, getting the whole floor fixed and retile (not sure of tile colour yet), replacing the shower/base/screen, reusing the existing basin and toilet and wall tiles for now to save cost.

Thanks!
