Hi Ali, It's a lovely room, I'm glad you showed more of it!! Judging by your comments, it seems the issue is where the powerpoints are and not where you want the TV to be am I right??? The TV would be better where your liquor table is, still up on the wall though however, I don't know if you can successfully turn your lounge to do that, as you would then have the lounge in the middle of the room and you would be looking at the back of the lounge when in the dining area but you could put a small console table behind the lounge, even the liquor stand , effectively creating the start and finish to each space. Anyway, for now, if it's a power point issue then simply leave the TV where you've put it and save up to get more suitable points put in. Hope this helps. Cheers, Barbara

You need to choose a colour that pleases you but the inside wall of that alcove does lend itself to a feature. If you want more than just paint colour there are paintable wallpapers that add an embossed look to a wall and you paint over that. Check out Bunnings.

oskuee..pulling down his pants doesn't have the same effect though.. I'd rather leave him alone to wash my dishes.. if I hit him he'll say I'm a husband basher.. I go into work after hours as I get more done only when he's not around ..when he's around he causes havoc a squeeze here a fondle there..thank goodness we haven't had to have the security camera tapes reviewed lol even when his staff is around he'd pull me in between the shelves then poke his head out to see if anyone is watching lol or worse still into the back of the shop close the door and monitor his staff from the computer screen lol I can't win.. at night I can't sleep as I'd get into bed fall asleep and he'd fiddle with me any hours of the night.. if I fall asleep after he does I can't sleep as he snores.. result is me walking around like a zombie hehehe his sisters and nieces thinks I'm lucky as he adores me..there are days I just want to find him a second wife so he can annoy her half the week lol so now I'm half the week away..so for three nights I get proper sleep..can't function without sleep I'll crash ..

Having a desk of any kind will always be a bit messy if you are like myself. I have placed the computer desk into the niche with the Wall Mounted TV next to it for a reason, we are like minded two screen people, me for drawing plans. The screens mounted at the correct height for the user so you are looking up and not down to avoid any neck problems. Having the screens up off the desk allows more workable space, Open storage above with a set of drawers on one side under the desk with a pull out extra desk top (Ikea ). I didn't go into a whole lot of detail with my first post, you mentioned not wanting anything in front of the window which you viewed down the passage way, Your corner lounge with extra lounge or 2 x arm chairs creates a great conversation space with a large coffee table and a great place to put your feet up while watching TV. A good reason for placing the Desk and TV side by side is to allow you to consider a sliding door to cover the office, as per this photo, which can be pulled across the TV to the wall, you would need to have a small Nib wall on the passage way end of the Niche, I would have expected that anyway You appear to be having trouble with space for your bathroom, suggest you look at a Japanese style bathroom as per the photo, you can position them across or down the room. cheers
