I've seen lots of vibrantly coloured craftsman bungalows that look great, also some rather outlandish victorian houses! I've seen some awesome hot pink and black victorians! Do a search both on houzz and google. The amount of trim and detail really works to show off a more dramatic colour combination. You even have the wrought iron fence which could look amazing painted maybe a gold or metallic colour! Check out a flickr stream called the daily bungalow for some great inspiration, they have other albums worth a look too, but this one shows some more creative colour schemes. Thank you so much to everyone for all their advice. I love Houzz and all the generous people providing their time to give you their help and advice. I opted for Dulux Tropical Moss in half strength for the walls and had all the bedrooms carpeted in Redbook Green Mountain Chalet - Wild Hare. I love it. The photo isnt the best, but you get an idea of how it turned out. Thank you ;)

The house is currently painted with Surf mist, with Dune and Woodland Grey trim. We are thinking of changing the door colour to green and lightening the house color to more white? Thanks
