I love industrial too it's raw.. clean lines..our place used to be a shop..terrace out the front then they built an extension out the back to house the printers..hence the high ceilings..we visited Japan just before renovating this place thus the Japan render..pendants were made by one of our client to say thank you..court yard etc

Hi there, I agree with a lot of the suggestions above. Consider the textures, colours and finishes of your furnishings and artwork and think of the pendants as an opportunity to reiterate some of these. So for instance, if you have some black metal in the coffee table legs, you may bring in some of that in the kitchen pendants and look for say glass pendants with black fixtures. Coloured pendants are fun but they can date a lot quicker - bring in colour in the room through artwork, cushions and accessories.

No not at all, 2.8 divided by spaces between lights (eg 4 spaces lights are hung every 700). Mark out 700 from end of bench and place a piece of tape then measure 700 again and place another piece of tape and so on. Then place the lights over the tape so that the tape is in the middle of each light this will give you an idea if it will look cramped. Good luck!

I have looked at the lightbars but I did preemptively brush them off as too modern and industrial for our space. I really should go back and have a look at what options I have. I also keep coming back to the triple drop pendants. I think more of a glass based design would work so as it wasn't too overbearing in the space.
