Sorry Azza I don't have access to a full strength picture of Grand Piano....but why don't you paint up a swatch of Natural white from a sample pot (if you are near Gordon Park, I may even have a sample pot under my house still that I could give you as I have used Natural white elsewhere in my house. Also get a sample of your benchtop colour and cupboard colour and take it done to focus glass designs...and check out the colour both indoors and outdoors to see how they look in extreme of lights (because the lighter colours do vary depending on the light)....If you rang focus design beforehand and explained that one of their previous customers had recommended them on houzz website but that you were locked into the supplier based on who was building the house and would they mind if you just look at the Grand Piano colour in their showroom.......I found them so helpful, I think that they wouldn't mind you popping in to check out a couple of colours in their showroom. It is just a small family business....but had excellent customer service. They tell you whether the colour will achieve the look you are going for or not and that sort of advice is priceless ....the colour I initially wanted to use would have looked awful in my kitchen...

Hi Joy, we are often asked this very same question by our clients, especially when it comes to Island Units and Stone tops with Waterfall Ends where it is a shame to disrupt this design by installing a visible power point. We actually make all our cabinets with Solid Timber top rails as standard and so the solution we have come up with for invisible Power Points is to set them into the carcass top rail behind a door or drawer. You can then plug in and close the door against the lead while using the appliance in question. The back of our doors / drawers and benchtops don't have sharp edges and so this system works really well. We also fully enclose the space behind the rail to conceal all the cables; you will just need to speak with your cabinetmaker about incorporating this custom detail into your cabinets as well as plan the cable entry points with your project manager or Electrician. We use a Clipsal C16 architrave power point for this, because they are quite small at only 42mm high, where Clipsal make these in either a single or a double. I hope this helps Regards Malcolm

Your renovations are well underway, so after seeing the small floor plan and that the vanity is on an internal wall and you apparently still want the Shaving Cabinet. Having cavity brick walls I would get your brickie to remove a section of the brick wall so that the shaving cabinet can be recessed back into the cavity, this will overcome any concerns you have about bumping your head, this opening can then be patched along with other walls. I would take all of your photos and measurements to someone like Reece to pick a hand basin to fit,, I would also keep in mind that if say the width of the vanity is around 900 the shaving cabinet would match that width and you would end up with say 2 x 450 mirrored doors, which puts the mirror join in the middle and in your face when using the vanity. cheers

I agree with changing the doors from the garage (if not problematic for fire rating), the powder room and the pantry into sliding doors - either cavity or wall mounted for a feature. Also I would definitely have the sink in a bench along the outside wall - and I would have a much bigger window there to let more light into the kitchen. Also swap the opening of the sliding door to the other side and change the door to closer to the kitchen wall so the fridge and bench in the pantry are on the wall furtherest from the kitchen which will give you a longer bench. I would also try to have the doors to the garage and pantry as close as possible to opposite each other for ease of carrying groceries in.
