Hi, I'm wanting to re-clad my ugly timber framed shed. I'd really appreciate any tips people have on what would look good and be quick and easy to instal.
assuming the basic frame of the shed is in reasonable condition you can cover with sheets of corrugated steel in a variety of colours (same as used on roofs) is readily available from most hardware stores...first cover the frame with suitable insulation and add the steel sheets either horizontally or vertically...easily manageable by the average handyperson and some Googled instructions
On a serious note , like Kate , I'd suggest photos . If you are going to do a job , do it well , and that means as well as being quick and easy , it needs to look the part .
If your house is red brick and orange tiles , or 4 shades of grey render and a pink roof , and even if the shed can't be seen from the street , YOU will still need to look at it .
I'd suggest 'matching' the shed style , even the roof pitch -- at the very least paint it the same , but without knowing the style and situation , its just a guess what the best cladding would be .
