Large glass doors will be a major heat leaker... depending on your aspect and the time of the year, leaking heat into the house or out of it. Nothing better than triple block curtains with pelmets (with a top), that go all the way to the floor and extend past the window. Not quite as good thermally but better for adjusting light into the room while maintaining privacy are timber (not plastic) shutters, fitted inside the frame of the window, and again down to the floor... so that the entire window pane is covered when the shutters are closed. The latter would probably best suit your needs, unless your house swings between freezing cold and blisteringly hot.

although i always prefer curtains a 6m wide opening will need either a very light fabric or about 1 m either side to fully pull back to each side where blinds would be able to be raised completely above the window (assuming there's somewhere to attach them) discuss options with a window covering specialist as there are some new options that may suit you better..i also suggest to clarify flyscreening, security and ventilation options for your very wide opening as we found a more flexible and cost effective result with a door height panel of stacked awning windows next to a wide section of stacking doors so that we can open the window for ventilation without opening the doors

Hi Susan I would not specify shutters for louvre windows. Apart from curtains, another possible option would be a blind (roman, roller etc) outside mounted ie on the the wall, as it’s likely that when the window is closed the lever won’t be an issue, but probably will protrude past the window trim when open. A customised solution could be to mount the blind so it protrudes further out from the wall than normal, which has downsides that should be weighed up for your particular situation and desires. Motorisation will take the effort out of opening and closing blinds or curtains, and it is easier for you to decide now for hardwire motorisation before the roughing in stage. Your external blinds, or external shutters are best to keep morning heat out. If the air Con in window is staying then external blind as you have now will allow air flow to ac. You don’t have much wall space to draw curtains back off the windows and would block ac so if you want to keep the view out during day internal blinds to supplement the external are you best option, with 2 for the window with the ac.
