"Need help with entrance foyer minimalist house"
Comments (8)No, I do not think the pictured vase would work in this case as , the corner is just behind a minimalist entrance hallway...150wide..X 4mt long ..As you enter the large spacious family room the corner is on the left hand side....the corner wall is only 800cm creating an awkward space it needs something....? Modern, Beautiful and bold, so that you forget that the lounge is sticking out.....the vase is nice maybe too boring for this corner. There is a large wall/window...which will have to accommodate a long lounge.which will l protrude further out than the corner wall so you are almost walking into the line of the lounge suite...I believe a distraction on your left may solve the problem, but what can I put there....A palm in a pot was one idea...but the house is modern and minimalist. . Difficult this one. Need a "wow"....and a headache pill....See MoreBest looking MODERN ENTRY door...which one out of these 2 ?

Comments (9)Personally I like the ones you have but I know about storage issues, your room has grey tones so I would go with that if your couldn't find something in white. White always looks clean and it allows you to change the colours in your room, at a later stage without changing your cabinetry. I do like the chest of draws idea suggested by someone above - it was what I had thought of before I saw their photo - the low but wide ones in grey. You have plenty of room for that and it could make your room look wider. For me the eye sore in the room is the ceiling light fixture. Something modern / perhaps glass or a large circular pendant could be perfect....See MoreHow can I make my house look more modern?
Comments (14)Thank you all for your comments, photos and links. Thank you all for your comments, photos and links. This style of house is what I like but I only have a small budget -$5000.00. I have researched roof painting and read several forums where people have painted their own roofs with good results as long as they were meticulous with the preparation. I will remove the shutters and definitely engage the services of a garden designer. I live in Perth and we haven't seen rain for awhile. Seems sensible to get rid of the lawn. And I will further research painting or re surfacing the driveway and change in the future. But, where do I start? What should I do first to implement change? Thank you for any further comments....See MoreMB Design & Drafting
