Measurements of space would help with suggestions.

In the mean time, this is my suggestion.
Build your washing machine and sink into your cupboard with doors, not sliding doors. Then set back a cupboard same depth as the wall depth, for brooms, etc. unless you are trying to put a vacuum cleaner in there as well. Brooms will fit perfectly with all the other things that have accumulated in your laundry space.
I have attached a sketch of my thoughts, and a photo, which is the reverse layout of your layout.

Doe the sink need to be kept in that corner because of the plumbing?

Hi @dreamer thanks for the suggestion, that's a good idea, but Yes I will keep a vacuum cleaner there, so won't be wide enough I guess. Yeah the plumbing is that corner, so I guess if we move the sink the plumbing will have to be moved. I have edited the post, dimensions are approx 2.5m x 60cm.

Front loader washing machine door sticks out more than 60 cm. So need 70 to enclose or may get away with 67-68min. Need to check your machine allowing for connections at rear.
Maybe accept the accept the washer is not closed under window and make the rest cupboards.

Hi Galina, the space is wider than I thought from the photos you posted.
You have plenty of room for cupboards the full depth needed of 680, plus washing machine, plus full sink. Then as I suggested, a cupboard that is stepped back only the depth of the space between the window and back wall.
I also before reading your measurements put my vacuum in under the sink, and it fits. Attachments can hang in the smaller cupboard.
Do some measuring of your appliances and see what can fit where.
But now that I have measured everything, you have room for a good amount of storage, maybe even the iron and ironing board

@kate Thanks for the idea. I think putting the washing machine there might work. Yes I know that the washing machine needs more space, I gave approximate measurements, but measured properly now and we are actually giving 80cm depth. So the exact measurements are 220x80 Wall to window 35. Thanks

Okay, so you still have room for extra cupboard space approx 190 wide. Plenty of room.

@dreamer that does loom nice, I imagine it something like that, except mine can't be in one line. The sink will have to change spots and that's that. Some plumbing work might need to be done, which will add cost, but it wi be worthed. Thanks!

Yes, you need to use hinged doors, not sliding doors. Will look wonderful and organised.

Hi Galina, can you post a plan so I can see where the window is. The use of hinged doors depend on where they swing to against walls and each other. You may look at 3 doors and how does the interplay of doors work. A triple slider like I have may be better.
I have 3 sliders 900 each Hiro glass doors from Regency with flush to floor track. Bifolds can be great but take space on sides. You could do two sliders over 2/3 but have track go full width to allow it to slide clear, and an inset door for the section under window to close off the under bench cupboard under window

This is my interpretation of how space may work. Definitely not to scale. But showing where window is for Kate.
Normal hinged doors, bifold, or sliders will work for the 800 deep component.

However, in my opinion, since this laundry will be in the kitchen, hinged doors may be better to incorporate into the kitchen aesthetic.
Also, I just think sliders get in the way, you can never open up the whole space without a slider in the way.

hi, I don't know what happened to the photos. I have attached plans. @kate Yes sliding doors save space and that was my initial idea, but if used wall to wall they will cover half of the window, and I'd like to keep that winodw. We will have a dining table in the middle of the kitchen where the wall is now so we might use sliding doors for the part where the washing machine/sink is and do a bench top and hanging cabinets for the part where the window is.

Really think hard about access issues to your sink and washing machine behind sliding doors. If you have two sliding doors at 800mm wide, then the middle of the sliding door frame will have to be calculated that you have the sink behind one door and the washing machine behind the other door. Nothing worse than having your sliding door stopping right in the middle of your washing machine.
Measure the spaces with the correct width for your appliances, and install without them being obstructed by the sliding door.

Another alternative is to have hinged retractable cupboard doors, or pocket doors. These open like normal doors but then slide back out of the way into their little framed pocket. This will then not obstruct any part of your laundry space. And not impede into your dining room when open.

I like your plan of a little alcove cupboard and shelving next to your window. This will look wonderful and can be finished to blend in with your kitchen.
You should still have room in your "laundry" for hanging brooms etc.

@dreamer thanks for the heads up! That's definitely something to consider (and I didn't think of) where the sliding door will open.

Another consideration is that all washing machine doors hinge on left, so not really suited to being located at the window end as this will make it more difficult to load from basket and or transfer to a sink to its left.

On the window end could consider putting lift up door on the overhead shelves to enclose them if needed.
