Because of the heat, you should not use dark colours on walls or roof. regarding painting of brick. Brick is an almost no maintenance cladding. When you paint it you've set yourself up for a big chore every 7 (on the west) to 10 years. Secondly, if you still want to paint it, you need to use special brick paint, or natural limewash. Bricks and mortar need to breathe. If they can't, you can have structural problems down the track. theres lots of information about limewash on the Internet.

I'd stick with Ironstone for your gutters, fascia and architraves and use Surfmist on the eaves. If you wanted to add a third colour to pick out the trim I'd go with Gully but still use Surfmist on the eaves to help create dimension.

Google 23 Leonard St, Margate, Qld and have a look at the blue similar to yours which has been paired with ironstone. In a nod to mid century modern and the beach, that house used to be the bright blue on the bricks underneath the patio, at the side of the house, the stairs and front door which was just too much. By changing the brick work, the stairs and the front door to ironstone (and the fences), it toned the bright blue down and now looks so much better. I think if you painted your house warm white, left the gutter and fascia plus the windows the bright blue and changed the pergola, pillars, garage door and front fence to ironstone or charcoal, you probably could leave the roof alone. This would be cost effective as you could do it yourself. I really think toning down the blue is the way to go in your case too. By the way I think paint the downpipe in whatever colour you do the house. Down pipes should blend in.

The yellow /orange door is great. Be very careful that the undertone of the house colour and door are similar. If you do the door a cool clear orange, you’ll want a cool white and not any grey or warm undertone. As for air con, you can spray paint it any colour with Rustoleum 2x Primer and Paint or build a box around it and paint the box. Check out YouTube. I just did ours two days ago…
