Hi Andrew At Bodo, our motto for exterior colour schemes is Keep It Simple! with a maximum of 3 colours, including your roof, windows etc. If you break this rule, the colour scheme becomes complicated and fussy, and may make your house appear smaller, as introducing differing colour in differing sections, confuses the eye line. Terracotta roof tiles. Then you could either go with steel greys and blues, varying shades and tones of terracotta or a combination of both. Have included some Dulux colours showing how versatile terracotta can be to perhaps give you some inspiration...

Thanks so much for the advice everyone! i will talk to my parents about adding a fence, trimming the greenery and doing something about that red brick! me me - they brought the house off the builder in the 90's - its like a weird light grey with the green paint trims - the inside was worse, apricot as far as the eye could eye!

Stick with three or fewer colours all up so I’d do the render the same as the boards. I would suggest paying a few hundred dollars for a colour consultant to get it right.
