Ah, that is a fun wallpaper you've chosen. I'd do it all around the room. That will be more dramatic and unexpected. Since the room is so light, it can easily take it. It will be like sleeping in the woods. Without the bugs and bears. You're doing a lovely job on the distressed night stands. I do think it will be a good idea to paint the dresser in the same colour, as collettec suggested. I'd much rather see a more decorative ceiling light or pendant. And some nice lights beside the bed or above the bed?

Hi Louise :) Apart from the kitchen location, we've actually kept fairly close to the original idea! The only change is that the back will now be big glass stacker doors (as mentioned above) the same as at the front. We can open the whole room up to the outside, front and back. The whole first floor will all be pretty much open plan so we've decided not to worry where the door to the laundry & bathroom is. The dining table will be up against a wide window with a built-in bench seat, to save room and allow a wider pathway to the kitchen. The kitchen looks straight into the dining area, it's all open. So when I'm standing in my new kitchen I'll be able to see out to the back garden, all the way through the house, and see the spa area too. I can't wait :)

When you are young, I firmly believe you should go for fun design. Plenty of time later for serious. Choose the bright yellow and have fun with your life, regards Chook.

Hmm potentially although I suspect I couldn't reach to the back of it. Definitely not to do the alternating coloured panels I initially wanted but maybe with a roller on a pole....thanks for your suggestion, will look into it!
