Love to see personal styling rather than matchy matchy show home look! I love the cane chairs but you don't want it to look crowded. Though you could put one to the left of the room facing the other way so it's more conversational rather than everyone facing the TV and with their backs to rest of the house. I love that Freedom lounge it'll look great. I'd probably add a rug in a warmer texture even a plain or patterned sisal to soften the dark shiny floor (the dark colour makes your room look smaller and is a bit stark against your nice warm timber) and anchor the furniture together, Freedom and West Elm also have great options.

Hi Anna, Definitely could tie in the piano with the ‘pink ‘ theme, you could throw a fur over seat or add a luxe stool to blend in piano with your new look, a large floor rug could tie your furniture placement or no rug at all , love the couch and chair in this photo, a chaise with a feature chair could look gorgeous also adding a little bit of metallic to the room would look beautiful like that coffee table with the blush chairs...gorgeous

Wow, that's a very tricky layout! I love OKlouise's change to the laundry and kitchen! I can see why the TV won't work though. I don't think there's any perfect solution here. What about some open shelving, housing the TV, coming out adjacent to the garage door - this will block an unsightly door way and create a bit more of a nook for the living room. As a slight adaptation of OkL's plan could you put the TV on an angle behind the front door and move the furniture around to suit, perhaps? And another idea - getting the TV off the floor and onto the wall would help enhance the feeling of space - you could keep existing furniture arrangement and invest in a bracket that swivels the TV out from the 'garage door' wall, it'll be closer for viewing, then you can push it back flat against the wall when not in use. not a professional just obsessed with building and renovating..bagging the fireplace wall would make it easy to fill in the old master bedroom doorway with bricks to make a seamless match for the whole wall and brighten the whole new room and a simple roof extension on legs at right angles to the house with a gable roof, simple steel framed construction with Colorbond and lazerlite roofing and raked ceilings would make an ideal alfresco but you would probably need a skylight in the new kitchen to keep indoors from being too dark (and/or check out Solar Skylights that are excellent for adding extra light without holes in the roof) ...the alfresco could have basic concrete slab extended out from the existing verandah, screen walls, outdoor fireplace and outdoor barbq kitchen and sink..we've done something similar in a previous reno using a custom sized steel carport supplied by a local garage maker and then adding screen walls with lazerlite, lattice and plastic cafe blinds subject to views and direction of the weather ... you should also consider bug screening using horticultural shade cloth as you may find rural living a bit more fly blown than the suburbs and the screened room makes a safe play area for small kids and for pets left home alone btw don't forget to check the measurements of all the rooms as there are some discrepancies that need to be corrected in the plans and would be happy to redraw with correct measurements
