You need to add something dark, for contrast and "punctuation".. I agree with the others about painting the front door black (not gray) and would also paint the planter boxes, step, and sides of the porch black. Perhaps as well the window trim and even the eaves trough although I would want to see the roof color better to decide on that. Then some brightly coloured plants in the planters and maybe a small brightly painted stool or chair or small table to the side of the door on the porch area. These things would make the font of the house "sing" and add personality so the home stands out from others around it.

Hi...When mine was at the planning stage , I found the best way was to discreetly take photos of gardens I liked in the area..I like neat symmetry too and based my garden around hedges, paths and groundcover with some feature magnolias and 2 rectangles of lawn and it is easy to take care of and matured reasonably quickly. I also have some roses but I would probably omit them if I did it again. Garden centres are good for free local advice too. Hope that helps.

Hi, you have so much space to play with. Think about what is important to you when you are considering functionality for you. If you have kids, a play area may be important, if you live near the beach, perhaps an outdoor shower? If you love entertaining, maybe a fire pit. Be creative! The trees mentioned above are a great idea for ensuring privacy.

Hello! Lovely space, I have a huge soft spot for these bathrooms. To honour what it is, but make it more enjoyable for your uses PLANTS PLANTS PLANTS. I would either install some shelving to have some dangling vines (or equivalent look) plants up high, or use a hanging fixture into the ceiling. That far corner above the bath would be great. + A large (and tall) pot plant and some smaller ones wherever you can fit them. On top of this, I would replace the doily curtain to a more modern look, perhaps white, wooden blinds? If you can do further work from here, it would be accessories, like the towel rail, and tap ware. Something a little Art Deco for your taps would look amazing. Finish with large, fluffy white towels and bathmats to conceal as much of the colour as possible and brighten the space and a big candle or three, maybe a white stool or ladder too.
