Hi LeslyH. it's such a lovely bathroom I think I could live with that in an ensuite, just have to do what our friend does, shower and then wipe down the bathroom with her towel, another thought is to use pump pack soap as it doesn't seem to have the scum built up like normal soap. Would still replace the mirror with a recessed shaving cabinet and continue the bench top to the wall, lower the the shower head and would have to add an additional wall shower for us girls Just adding a couple of my favorite bathroom ideas. Shower over this bath would be great

You are most welcome, this gives total privacy for using the toilet, going by my measurements it should work, the wall between vanity and toilet could be tiled. Did you take on board my suggestion to split the door in half vertically so that you have two smaller doors of the same design as the rest of the house, we have done this in the past. I was going to suggest that your door be made into a sliding barn door on the passage wall but not sure what is next to the bathroom doorway. You also get a bigger shower, Wasn't sure of total window size. if it wasn't for it you could do Japanese style bath shower with both opposite each other and totally open but then there's the toilet cheers

Nik Star, I’m jealous of your bigger space ; ) - but so happy you have now been reacquainted with your messing tape! We are toying with the idea of putting a cavity slider in. Thank you Ripple Effekt Siriuskey - yes I really LOVE the concept of a “wet room” - Never imagined that our space was big enough for this but now seeing it’s possible, thinking about trying the bath under the window, then the shower and then vanity on the bottom left corner - just flipping yours slightly. Just trying to find a good bath that’s narrower design to allow for the biggest vanity possible. You are all awesome!

To answer dreamers question as to why you might do this, I turn on my shower over my bath with the kids in there and put the plug in. The shower water fills the bath and when there is some depth, I turn the shower off and they sit down. I supervise the whole time, blowing bubbles and playing with them and they love it. I also keep a small stylish stool beside the bath so I don't have to sit on the ground. My children are 2 and 4. Obviously if your children are older this would not resonate :)
