We have some holes to fill but obviously the plaster is very smooth on a rough textured brick wall, are there any tips on how to recreate the texture so it doesn't stand out?
I’d apply a technique similar to bagging with cement maybe add some sand to your plaster if you don’t have cement. Wipe with a rough cloth not sandpaper
How big are the holes? And how prominent are they? For small holes you can stipple the filler with a dry paint brush. What is the original finish? Are they plain textured bricks, rendered, bagged or a texture paint? For bigger patches you’ll need to recreate the original finish.
