Comments (4)The part of the home that you have shown, does not appear small. Room sizes are good. The problem is the kitchen in a thoroughfare, but it has plenty of storage. And the wall between sunroom and living. i would seriously look at removing the wall between sunroom and living, check with a structural engineeR. You said you do not want to remove walls, but this is the only way you can increase the size of that room. Maybe keep a supporting post in the middle, and work your furniture around it. Then install of full wall of storage on the dining/laundry wall....See Morelooking for advice/feedback on living room changes
Comments (15)l'd lose door 1 and have two sofas to keep the sitting area connected to the fireplace. The TV could be on either wall. This pulls the circulation space away from the sitting area, which should make it feel more comfortable. Also you wouldn't be entering the house to face a blank wall. You could use the zone near door 2 for reading area/desk. (I would probably take door 2 off its hinges and just have an opening.)...See Moresydneymidge
