When you go contrast in colors with grout and tiles you are not getting perfect look for the first 2016 post. But that tiling in the shower having small cut at bottom was just not a good planning by tiler, and its not fixing job now its redoing whole bathroom now. And not aligning joints in the other post shower floor and mainfloor does not look too off as photo in clicked at an angle and separation between two floors will have glass or something. But not aligning up the walls is odd but still be affected by other factors

Hi all , no matter from what part of the globe your from . ----------- Up cycling is the in thing . Just a few pic's showing a few ideas of mine using both non- treated recyclable timbers ( pallets and other timbers used for packing ) and some treated timbers "where required ", combining old kitchen sinks and laundry tubs and old semi ridged plastic signage signs sourced from tip shops and garage sales ,etc . Ideal for kids play ( mud) kitchens / planters and my latest upgraded design for a gardeners cleaning and potting work bench ( as well as for cleaning fish / BBQ 's food preb./ cleaning benches etc) . If I walked into a bathroom that had painted tiles and I didn't have the money to repair it, or I liked the original yellow, I'd be dark. Once you paint it, the tiles will definitely need replacing at some stage. At work I always say, will your quick fix make more work in the long run. Change the taps to chrome(stainless is too expensive) and leave it. It's a clean functioning space that will not turn anyone off.
