need help with caesarstone colour choice
Comments (3)I have a black laminate top in my rental, it shows every hair, dust, and mark imaginable even after just wiping it down. My friend chose a black essa stone top and regrets it to for this reason. I love black but have chosen Atlantic Sea Salt white with grey flecks and a bit of black in it by Caesarstone for my new build. I also have chosen Ravine Char Oak by Polytec for my cupboards which is a grey wood grain, I too have a black fridge but have no kids living at home anymore, so black shiny cupboards if you have small children might drive you mad! But a black with a wood grain finish wouldn't show marks like a shiny finish would. Good luck!...See MoreVOTE: IKEA savedal or bodbyn with Caesarstone London Grey?
Comments (18)I love the style of IKEA cabinets, but do wish they had more colours, it's a pity we can't access the IKEA custom door companies in Australia like semihandmade! Do you want white? There is the option of the grey LERHYTTAN which is midway in style between bodbyn and savedal?...See MoreCaesarstone Rugged Concrete & Cloudburst Concrete
Comments (84)Hi All, It sounds like tumeric and grease are the worst culprits for staining. We are looking to put the Cloudburst in our kitchen as our island and backsplash, but I'm very nervous. I love to cook and host. I also LOVE the look of this stone and would like to make it work if we can. Are there any bakers on this thread that have experience with these countertops? If you are rolling out dough or baking with greasy dough, how has that experience been? What if you get butter/oil on it? Any tips? Do you cover the counter before doing your baking etc.? I imagine beet juice would also be a nightmare?...See MoreWhite paint help!
Comments (1)There are dozens of suitable whites, and their is no magic white that somebody can suggest without seeing your floor tiles and benchtop. The only way to get it right is to look at real life samples (not digital images) of your benchtop and floor tiles on-site. Your perception of the whites will also depend on your light fixtures and the daylight. I would start with the Dulux - "most loved whites", but don't choose from your computer screen as they are actually quite different in real life. https://www.dulux.com.au/colour/whites-and-neutrals/most-loved If you can't decide then get a Dulux colour consultation which is reasonably priced compared to the cost of a house load of paint and labour.
