I had a lot of Tile Photos and shapes on my old Computer XP But the new one is Apple and I was Wondering why I couldn't Find Things that should have been there..The best ones are those that fit together as a complete Panel. It is True that it is not easy to Make The Shapes yourself...I did a tile Course a few years ago....You can Roll the Clay out and then print out the shape you require. (You need to spend time making or getting a Metal Worker to Make several Shapes in Steel...It is like Pastry Cutting ..Probably would take too long...You are right that some Clays are Easier to Work with...There is a type of Terracotta that is very forgiving...But a lot of the white or beige clays will crack very easily and are too fussy.. You have to leave things to dry out slowly over about 4 weeks ...The Kiln needs to be heated up very slowly any rushing and crafts will happen . I still have my old Computer so I hope to get Photo's unto a clip so that I can move them to iPhoto...Good luck with your Project....

Understand that "Corian" is only one particular brand of acrylic benchtop, like as with reconstituted stone and laminate material, people often refer to it by the name of the most popular brand name, but their are always different levels and tiers of quality across an array of different companies that manufacture this type of bench top material. We regularly utilise and specific acrylic bench top material on our projects such as below. It's the most seamless and malleable bench top material from a design point of view than any of the other options available. Most of our higher end projects choose to go with it and for good reason, and we've never had an issue with it. Any defects can be relatively easily repaired, the success of which is not so much in regards to the quality of the material, but rather the contractors who work with and install it. So if anyone's had issues it can typically be pegged back to a workmanship or fitting issue, or potentially on a rare occasion if there's an actual defect with the material/product it should be replaced properly/completely rather than just patched up. www.pauldistefanodesign.com

The cracks are in our walls though I note our old tiles in our bathroom floor have lifted slightly so I suspect cracking may be an issue for us?? But I will explore the polished concrete/terrazzo option if you think it can be overcome as this is certainly our preference. We moved into our home recently and have basically lived downstairs so have not used the bathroom upstairs at all. A guest showered in it one time and it leaked through to our bedroom ceiling!! So we suspect there is an issue with the waterproofing and there are cracked tiles however we won't really know what the issue is until we pull it all out to see what is happening under the tiles. You'd have to get expert advice I think they'd have to prepare the floor before laying concrete from what I have heard it is pretty hardy stuff these days and looks wise it's great, as I am no expert you'd have to get a licensed concreter to give you an opinion if it is feasible, as I said it doesn't have grout and as a woman myself keeping grout looking pristine is a full time job and a PIA! I have to agree with you on that one.
