Advice needed - which cover for outdoor area
Comments (5)Hi Jess Pictures will help. Pretty hard give advice on something unseen. There are plenty of options out there. Look for examples as you drive down the street - sometimes you may see something. I think you have seen my patio on another posting I chose double sided roofing for mine i.e. it has colour both sides. Apparently it is pretty cool to be under. I have installed a ceiling fan too. It is from the Lysaght Outback range. I am pretty happy with it. I did consider insulated roofing (from another well known supplier) but it was so much more expensive. I chose the style I did because I did not want a flat skillion style as I felt it would not have suited the area. Cheers...See MoreAdvice needed for open plan kitchen area makeover
Comments (12)Wow. So much potential! I would definitely paint white, re place the back splash, and remove the pot holder. The old saying of 'you have to spend money to make money' wouldn't go astray here. If the budget allows....i would consider new flooring. Correct me if i am wrong, however the flooring looks to be cork. This particular style and colour is very out dated. This could potential be a factor with the buyers. it looks like it could be a descent size home, perhaps buyers see the amount of extra $ that needs to be spent?? just a thought. Looks like a lovely home with a lot of potential. Good luck with it all....See MoreOutdoor Area Advice Needed
Comments (6)Hi span_rk, We noticed that Julie above mentioned utilising a vertical garden. I don't mean to sound biased, but incorporating artificial plants can be a perfect alternative to a screening plant that you may like to consider. Feel free to check out our range here: https://evergreenwalls.com.au Cheers, Richard...See MoreAdvice please for decorating Living and dining area open space
Comments (11)Hi Soshu, Megan from Bluethumb online art gallery here. I agree that you could open up the space by removing those boxy units above the TV. I would also think that because it's such a dark room, adding a mirror somewhere could help brighten up the space. I'd also suggest adding white or teal sheer curtains instead of the blockout blinds for a softer, brighter look. You've also got a great opportunity to add some artwork with that empty wall behind the couch there. Since you've already chosen an accent colour of a teal blue, why not find an artwork that matches with your colour scheme? Artwork will really help to personalise the space, especially an original piece that you love. At the moment, it does feel a little impersonal. I'd suggest going with a showstopping piece that will generate conversation the moment people spy it.
