Comments (2)Yes I was asking another question, given the light on the property , would white frames be too glary/stark? Also there are different types of rendering- the acrylic and the painted on ,anyone know how much more expensive the acrylic might be?...See Morenursery makeover
Comments (6)Hello You have lovely furniture for your little boy Yes, I think you could change the position of your furniture now that your son has different requirements Is it possible to move the cot to the wall opposite the wardrobes & place the change table under the window That way, when change time comes, the baby will have a view of the sky to occupy him! Add some interesting bunting to the window frame to move in the breeze Or replace blind with a more colourful one If you no longer need the nursing chair, perhaps the large black one could be moved out & be replaced with a lighter (rattan) chair Repurpose the sheepskin- on the chair for softness? Add some low shelving for toys & books Introduce some vivid colour - which, as you know, children love A yellow cushion on the new chair; a multi-coloured rug on the floor for playtime; an appropriate mural on the wall above the cot or a lovely multi stripe wallpaper Have fun with your project It is lovely to see that your new baby is so loved...See MoreNursery layout suggestions
Comments (8)Unfortunately it looks as if the rocker above is in front of the opening section of the sliding door. The other glass door section probably doesn't open anyway, so treat it as a wall to some extent, this will allow more useable space - just leave a bit of a gap for window furnishings to operate. Having the crib on the original layout allows you to peek more easily when baby is asleep - although with the cameras now, this isn't a priority. My grandaughter waves at the camera when she has done something she knows she shouldn't. As far as layout is concerned, don't stick to a too regimented idea, but if placing overhead shelving, the southern wall would be best, as this is not a thoroughfare. Pottery Barn make some delightful storage items. Just remember to anchor them to the wall, as no matter how difficult it is for children to access, they will - make it safe for them. You could incorporate the change table in a long low storage section for the relevant time, then turn it into a desk - see Ikea Stuva....See MoreBed orientation question
