Design ideas for walk in pantry / study
Comments (8)I have been planing my new butler's pantry for a while and here are some of my favourites. My space is 2.8m x 1.5m (L-shaped). I am having 450mm wide bench with open shelving top and bottom on the long side (maybe one row of open drawers like in first photo), 650mm wide bench at the end with sink and cupboard below. I also have a small alcove on the left which will be used as a broom closet (easy access for spills). In your case I would run the bench and overhead cupboards from the window, along the right hand wall and back around to the door. You could then have a study desk under the window with the natural light. You may also have room to put a fold down ironing board cupboard all alternatively put in a pull out ironing board in the bench that returns near the door. Good luck!...See Morelooking for small L shaped study/bedroom ideas
Comments (9)still not clear about the shape of the space...please show a plan including surrounding rooms and measurements of each wall...if the space has no doors what side is open, what room is it open to, what size bed needs to be accommodated, what study equipment will be used...a small convertible sofa could just squeeze into the space with a coffee table, laptop an s some shelves?...See MoreDesign ideas for new kitchen, dinning and study nook needed
Comments (9)I would suggest you do not make the area open plan. You should make the dining room a dedicated home office/study area. You could install desks and plenty of bookshelves for storage. Sort through all your stuff and try to make the family room and dining table for eating, not stationery. You could definitely make the corner where the bookcase is, into a study area as well....See MoreLooking for layout ideas for a Study / Second Living / Guest Room.
Comments (6)Hi there, straight away your predicament says to me WALL BED! The Europeans have are pros at living in tiny spaces that have to be multi use. There are some amazing wall beds that combine multi use functions like lounge/bed/office and take up very little space as they go against one wall leaving the remaining space free (just keep in mind you will need space to lower the bed when required). If you are in Australia try The Comfort Shop for some of the best multi-use wall beds that are italian made, they are pricey but worth it if you truly want a room that can be versatile (below are some of their better options, sorry some of the images are very small)...See MoreUser
