Yes, it is a good idea, depending on your budget, climate and your source of energy. Other factors such as insulation and ventilation also have an influence.
I live in Perth WA but winters get cold and I'd love heating in the ensuite. My friend in Melbourne VIC has gas underfloor heating but it doesn't have the ability to use certain rooms only the whole house.
electric underfloor heating...like an electric blanket installed under floor tiles,is very effective for climates with extended periods of cold weather and we've also used it under some floating timber floors over concrete slab and under carpets
