“We engaged Margaret Skilbeck to help us with a major renovation and extension of our family home in Warrawee. Architelle was recommended by a local builder who gave us the names of a few architects that work in the Area. He told me Margeret Skilbeck was conversant with Kuringai council regulations and her turnaround time in submitting work was also good. We were very happy with the design and final result. One of the best things we did was engage Margeret to supervise the building project which included weekly site meetings. it took away a lot of the stress involved in building work. She gave us very good advise along the way and helped in choosing materials and fittings. She was professional, capable, efficient and very pleasant and we have no hesitation in recommending Her. She was able to work well with the builders & coordinate the other professionals. Her fees were reasonable and good value.”

“Vanessa is amazing! So much so that I've given her the nickname "Sydney's Best", abbreviated from "Sydney's Best Architect". We have undertaken 2 renovations and Vanessa was the architect on both occasions. In fact, we delayed our 2nd renovation to coincide with her return to Australia so she could be on-site for the job. Vanessa has a relaxed and friendly manner that belies her expertise and talent. Whilst her ideas and recommendations are outstanding, Vanessa's great strength is her ability to listen to and understand what we were hoping to achieve and then to make it happen. Twelve months on from completion and we continue to be blown away with how happy we are with Vanessa's design. We love the home that Vanessa has designed for us and truly couldn't be happier. The wonderful thing is that it isn't just a home for adults or a home for kids. Vanessa has designed a home that is to be lived in and everyone living in the house loves it. The design takes in so many considerations - it's a home for entertaining and a home for living; it accommodates people having their own spaces but also areas for people to interact; the space is utilised extremely well with the roof and under deck areas utilised to create maximum storage and an additional room. The design is very clever. Additionally, Vanessa has a great approach to working with the builder and sub-contractors and whilst you often hear about builder / architect difficulties Vanessa's approach and way of working with people ensures a happy and positive outcome for all parties. We are now looking at developing some apartments and wouldn't think of using anyone else. In fact, we can't wait to work with Vanessa again. Great person. Wonderful architect.”

“Duncan was always a pleasure to work with. His plans were very accurate and detailed which meant there was no need for guess work from the builders. Utz Sanby have a high level of knowledge and experience when it comes to building a house which is comfortable, works with the environment and that just makes sense. Our home at Whale Beach turned out exactly as planned, within budget and with no compromises. It elicits admiring looks and photographs from people walking past every day. CAD 3 D drawings and multiple designs and models were provided in the design phase which made our decisions very easy to understand. Duncan was always eager to listen to my suggestions and incorporate them into the design. I did not ever feel that he was pushing me into creating a trophy house for his portfolio but rather a home that suited our family in every way. I highly recommend Duncan and Utz Sanby to anyone considering building a new house.”

“Lalit was approachable and responsive. After a lot of discussion we proceeded with a straightforward, single-level extension which produced some wonderful spaces in our Californian bungalow. While there are a few tweaks we might have anticipated that would have further enhanced the design, we are really happy with the project Lalit designed and appreciate his support throughout the project.
