“I hired Crearter Constructions for a major renovation project in late 2016. From the first point of contact the service has been exceptional. Braden, the owner, spent a great deal of time and effort compiling a quote, to the point that a number of his tradespeople viewed the house in advance of the quote to ensure that the costings were accurate. The quotes we received from other builders were made after a short visit to the house and were ball-park figures of that the build might cost.. Braden's quote was extremely detailed and it was easy to see exactly what we were paying for. The build started on time (the job before ours finished exactly when it was supposed to) and moved at an amazing speed. All trades on site were expertly managed and the quality of work at all times was above and beyond what we had expected. Braden is a perfectionist and he is perpetually assessing the work of the tradespeople and insists on a very high standard of work from his whole team. The build has moved ahead without any problems and we are due to finish ahead of schedule and on budget with a finished project that we are delighted with. Braden is a hard working, honest, inspiring, problem solving, committed builder who would do justice to any project he is in charge of. We were fearful before the start of our build, as we had heard many nightmare stories from friends of building projects that had gone wrong. But we didn't need to worry. Braden has exceeded all our expectations. From start to finish our build has been a dream, executed with brilliant precision and managed with good humour and hard work in a truly collaborative way. As far as I am aware I am the only person I know who is sad to see the build coming to an end. It has been an amazing experience for us as first time builders and we have loved every minute of it. “Andrew & his team were standouts when we did a complete kitchen demolition & rebuild this year. Debono constructions were contracted to get two rooms ready for the new kitchen which included demolition, building new walls & preparing & resurfacing 80sqms of existing timber flooring. Everything went like clockwork, everyone turned up in a timely manner & when they were meant to. Difficulties always arise when dealing with the old fabric of a building but these were overcome in a creative ways. We cannot praise his carpenter & the flooring specialist enough. “It is with great pleasure that we provide this review of our builder Hall & Hart Homes. Building with Hall & Hart has given our family a beautiful home built to the highest standard. When we first walked into the display home at Marsden Park we knew this was the house for us. Our thoughts were complete after meeting with the sales team who went and inspected some of the blocks we were looking at purchasing. On finally settling on a block with a pretty aggressive slope to the rear and side Hall & Hart worked closely with us to get our design perfect. We settled on a custom build based mainly around the Chelsea with a lot of the Ascot features mixed in. Working with the interior design team was nothing short of amazing. Carly knew exactly what we were after and worked tirelessly to help source the inclusions and the look we were after. We were given different options to choose from to help keep within our budget. The final costs of our new home were transparent all the way through and there were no hidden or unexpected costs. The build itself was a fantastic experience and stress free through out and this was all down to our Site Supervisor. Mick is a supervisor with extremely high standards and work ethics we believe that this high standard is evident throughout our home. His communication with us all the way through was flawless and answered all our questions and concerns. We felt as if it was his own house at times because he was so invested in the build and made sure we were 100% happy with everything. There is quiet a lot of detail in our home and the quality of the trades that Mick has associated himself with are awesome. From the parquetry flooring , wainscoting to the exterior mouldings everything has been done with the highest attention to detail. We feel that the whole experience with Hall & Hart was something that we will always remember with high regard and we are so glad that we made the decision to build with such a quality company.”

“Michiel Gerber has renovated/rebuilt two houses for our family, one a mint 1905 slate-roofed double-fronted free-standing Edwardian/Federation house in Stanmore, and the other a unique Art Deco/Modernist house situated inside a harbour bushland reserve in Greenwich. This house was built in 1940 by a notable Sydney architect as his family home. Both houses retained thier original features. Both were major projects, requiring preservation of the existing structures and unique original period features, with the addition of new rooms that integrated artfully with the architectural heritage of the structures. In the case of the Greenwich house, this involved building 3 new bedrooms without breaking out of the existing envelope. The design brief was to make the new rooms look and feel like they had been part of the original house when completed in 1940. In this endeavour Michiel succeeded, to the point where the house has been inspected and admired by a number of notable local architects and an architect from the Art Deco Society of Great Britain when he was touring Australia some years ago. Michael became a friend during these projects, listened respectfully to our ideas and suggestions, and was careful to keep the projects within the ballpark of the budgets available to us at the time. I am going to hire him for my next project, which is to add rooms at the back of the Stanmore house.”
