“Gillian is a very approachable designer who really takes the time to learn what your style likes and dislikes are. She provides names and contacts of reliable tradies and firms, and is involved in the process all the way. It was Gillian who introduced me to the fabulous Houzz site, and together we built up a style file for the lounge area and the bathroom and powder room. She was able to liaise with the plumber so that we could understand what he meant with all the technical specs, and went around with him to make sure we were getting what we wanted when he came to measure and quote. Although we have not yet started the bathroom renovation, we have updated our kitchen dining area and it looks fantastic. I thoroughly recommend her services.”

“We can’t recommend Elsa from Vanko Interiors highly enough. We are delighted with the finished product (interior design of all common living spaces), looking forward to the next stage (bedrooms and exterior) and have found the process relaxed and fun. Elsa’s design skills and knowledge are impeccable and her communication and organisational skills make working with her both easy and very enjoyable. My husband and I have quite different styles and priorities, but with Elsa’s assistance we were able to agree on a plan, a vision and individual furniture and design choices that we both love and connect with. Her ability to create a very personal but tangible concept for us to base design choices on gives our home and living spaces a cohesive and unique feel. Elsa coped admirably with our vague budget and her advice on where to prioritise expenditure for maximum impact was invaluable.”

“Gary undertook the redecoration of the living spaces of my home during 2013, advised on the colour scheme for the exterior and provided some of the interior furniture from his collection. The result is outstanding and I am particularly pleased with the external colours chosen and the new furniture and artwork internally. Everything Gary suggested was just what I needed but I could never have come up with the solutions on my own. In addition, let me say that it was an absolute pleasure to work with Gary and I have no hesitation in recommending him to prospective clients.”

“I hired Anna from McMillan Design in 2018 to renovate my bathroom in my studio apartment in Glebe, and the finished result was not only immaculate but impressive. Anna provides an excellent service and truly looks after her clients. Not only does she go above and beyond assembling a team of trustworthy, hard working individuals but she also ensures every step of the way your satisfaction and approval. Naturally as unforeseen issues popped up she was able to deal with them swiftly and efficiently ensuring the project remained on track. Above all, McMillan Design provided me with not only a fully functional and spunky new bathroom design, but also a wonderful, collaborative experience.
