It is a dark walnut / burnt sienna acid stain over a seamless decorative concrete stamp patio -- but I will say this was not my favorite choice & wouldn't suggest it again (homeowner here insisted that was what they wanted). It "inverts" the stone banding (stone is lighter than the patio). Result is attractive now, but can be hot to the feet on sunny hot summer days, and shows significant wear over time. It needs to be resealed about every year. I prefer a lighter concrete or travertine material with darker stone banding and pool coping. Also not a huge fan of stamped concrete over a large SF area outdoors. The two enemies of concrete are sun and water -- which are unavoidable in excess around a swimming pool. -- Just my opinions... Hope this helps!
