What colour should I paint the wall where my peacock will hang?
Comments (38)Lovely print. I had a peacock feather print and I had a colour called glacier Grey behind. Think it was Wattyl . Again like your other walls it is a greenish grey but darker. I also had my prints on a charcoal wall..loved that too. As you said the picture ties in with the chairs and now it's not necessary to add more matching colours. I'd buy a couple of sample pots and paint large pieces of cardboard. With the other walls I would consider painting them in whisper white (Dulux) a very universal colour that ties in nicely with all colours....See MoreWhat type of sofa should I get ?
Comments (1)I can understand the frustration at the thought of obscuring the sliding doors. To avoid that you might consider a pair of sofas that face each other. (Like in the picture attached) This position looks very welcoming as it invites the seated people to face each other for conversation. It does mean for viewing the tv on the 'blank wall' you won't be in the most comfortable position, so I suspect you'll need to compromise somewhere... Access to the door against tv viewing....See MoreHow should I style my entry table?
Comments (49)Personally if I were to put a runner down the area I'd keep it either plain or a very soft muted colour palate maybe with the grey and natural colours as right now it looks quite classy so you don't want to make it to bold or in your face just soft and calming for the area to enhance it all as one look. I don't really think you need one at all as I love the softness of the area as a whole as it is, sometimes less is more but it once again comes down to personal taste....See MoreWhat timber colored table should I have?
Comments (17)Thanks dreamer & big reader for your feedback. It is definitely something that I didn't realise with being restricted to either black or white or a really dark table. The wall looks like a dark walnut wood laminate panelling It is a shame that I'd have to go with a dark walnut table as I absolutely love the tasmanian oak colour/lighter coloured woods. Do you think it would be ok if I put a big rug underneath a lighter coloured table?...See More
