Hi Eva, the colours I would guide you towards this Autumn have a natural warmth inspired by real organic materials, such as stones (grey/green tone, water (tropical teal), weather (deeper grey/blue), sunshine and dried herbs and spices (green/brown). A great colour for winter is deep red, Marsala or bright paprika. For a warmer brighter look you could use Ochre, a bright warm mustard/yellow, which we associate with heat, sun and general good feeling and looks amazing contrasted with grey.
My advice on a new kitchen would be to go with a neutral kitchen that suits you and the style of your home. You can add these beautiful colours separately in accessories or by painting a wall. As we all know kitchens are expensive and will be in our homes for at least 5 -10 years plus, so stick with what you love, not what is this seasons fashion.
One last thing!! I like using natural accessories in a kitchen and enjoy changing my rooms slightly each season to give a different feel. At the moment, I have chosen dark red flowers and I have a vase full of oranges to add a natural warmth.
I hope this has helped you. Feel free to ask any questions at any point.
