I love your color scheme. How did you decide on that granite? I found this website too . Perhaps those cabinets are not available here but just where you are. either way I can find something similiar. Did you have any issues with ordering..getting parts.. assemely? Do you have any helpful tips for designing ? Did you actually hang them yourself? Is there anything about the cabinets that you find defective or insufficient or think could be better? Hi Rose, You won't see them on display at any company as I designed them and instructed the window manufacturer how to make them. They were made by Stegbar windows based on their standard Georgian windows, which are normally powder coated white. I instructed to make them in powder-coated black but to exclude the vertical divisions. I think that most aluminium window manufacturers should be able to make them - but none of them will have them on display. I don't think that they would look very effective if you were using double glazing. This project was completed over 20 years ago (yes I have been in the business that long!) so I hope that the window manufacturers are still making Georgian style sliding doors! We have had the same dilemma with lighter multi colour bricks. We used an interior designer to help.... We painted large sheets of cardboard with colour and put them against the brick... Bought sample pots of colours as cheaper than making big mistake... Monument was recommended against our Sandstone & red/brown fleck bricks... No blue in sight. Other idea is to match a colour in your brick to draw out that colour as per the neighbourhood photo - take a brick to paint store to match. We will use red in brick as feature colour on garden walls.

Hi Rosie Building regulations are different in Australia to other countries and the minimum Window frame size and glass specifications here are determined by set structural requirements as well as where you live and your area's wind loads. The image below is an Australian made Aluminium Frame Door with a similar look to the last photo in your post. The Horizontal and vertical "bars" you see are planted on to the glass on both sides and are not structural (are not part of the outer frame) and so these can be fine profile pieces looking similar to steel frame windows. Most window manufacturers here in South Australia use their own unique extrusion profiles for their doors and frames (some have smaller extrusions than others) and so I would suggest that you do the rounds and visit each of these to find a manufacturer who uses a code compliant frame profile size that you like and then also choose a fine "bar" extrusion you like to achieve the look you are after.
