we have a character house in Queensland. Our living room has a fan that is off centre and we would really like to put a new fan centrally in the room. However we don't want to have a light on the fan. Any suggestions for lighting ie position of lights that would work? The room is about 6 x 4 m. And has tv down one end. we were thinking putting 2 lights eg pendant style either side of the fan (along the 6 m length) but this would put a light in front of the TV. Would just having one light at the rear of the room work (above lounge) would that look umbalanced? We were looking at lights like this:
