Edible plant recommendations
Comments (18)Agree - shade adds a layer of difficulty - most veg likes full sun but there are a few things you can grow that doesn't mind a bit of shade. You could try: Nasturiums (leaves and flowers are edible), Parsley, Beans, Peas, Chives, Lettuce, Asian Greens, Brussell Sprouts, Ginger, Wasabi - you could try Strawberries but you'll get a reduced yield. Mint is brilliant in shade but make sure that you keep it in a pot otherwise it'll take over....See MoreRug recommendations required
Comments (23)I think a softer patterned rug would highlight your grandmother's furniture in a more stylish way, it's so lovely to include such special pieces into your home, just the memories alone are priceless, you could add a large artwork then pick out cushions a great lamp and a beautiful plant and your room will look beautiful. abstract would look great , pick up cushions in similar colour on your couch would look lovely. this is beautiful rug also, you have some great ideas from everyone, hope we have inspired you....See MoreBackyard & Retaining Wall Upgrade - Input welcomed
Comments (9)Clean the wall, paint the fence, plant some plants. You can plant plants that will tolerate the soil you've got but if you improve the soil you will widen your choices and give your plants a better start. Once you have a plan you can get a landscaper to do the work. Otherwise, it's like contacting a builder to build a house without having an architect create the design first. The results will be unpredictable and disappointing....See MoreKK1000
