based on the description of your kitchen, definitely semi gloss, particularly with polar white, it's quite a stark white, so semi gloss will soften it

In that pic the last one looks best but I’m wondering if the lighting is right as the Smartstone (3rd) looks slightly pink and it certainly isn’t (I have it in my bathrooms). Also, see what the samples look like with the laminate sample vertical and the stone horizontal as that’s hi they are going to be relative to each other. The light on a horizontal plane might give a slightly different colour.

Exactly the same tones as mine except i lifted it with a stainless steel col glass splashback and s/steel handles. I can change my accessories to suit the season even . clean and lovely as dark col bench tops look cluttered to me.Infact last week we even replaced the two downlights with 2 smoked glass pendents over the sink ( like yours) and they look great.
