Comments (1)Oh, I also once had the idea that I need to redo, if not my entire apartment, at least a few rooms like those I saw in hotels or rented houses on the islands. After looking at different styles and designs I chose the mediterranean style. In fact, this was the style of the house I lived in during my vacation last year, you can also get ideas from here https://www.onholidays.com.au/victor-harbour-holiday-houses/. So far I have only the bedroom redone, with plans for a living room and second bedroom. Still trying to grow some tropical plants, so far it's working out!...See MoreBeach Bungalow Transformation
Comments (0)Our clients enlisted us to transform their run-down family beach house. This property had good bones but had seen better days. A leaking roof and windows along with a few structural issues, the clients knew it was no better time to not only fix these issues but do a full interior and exterior update. This beach house is in the most idealistic position, with beach views all around the property and we wanted to make sure that every area of this home leveraged this stunning view. Before: After: This property was not only enjoyed by our clients but they also rented it out over the summer, so we also needed to make sure we incorporated quality products and hardy materials to withstand the large number of visitors that graced this home. Before: After: To have a better flow throughout this space we tweaked the floor plan slightly which also then maximised more of the view and created more of a comfortable and relaxing vibe to the space. The exterior of the property was Teal and needed to be modernised to create curb appeal and again maximise the beach view. The clients were thrilled with the relaxed boho transformation and wish they could enjoy it more. After the transformation, our clients updated the rental listing with the new images of the space and are booked back to back most weekends. Comments (6)Bathroom 2 I like -- it all gels , the blue stripe and the copper fixtures are great features . The wood in Bath 1 doesn't go with the green tiles IMO -- a lighter oak would have been my call -- and although definitely out of favour , i would have done the toilet seat in the lighter wood too , and done a 'reverse' band of white tiles about 2/3rds of the way up the wall , both to reference the other bathroom , but mainly just to break and lighten the green . And what can I say about the kitchen -- nice , just like 47.23 million other showhomes and houses . Nil Wow , nil personality , nil colour , absolutely nothing that catches your attention or most importantly , your imagination ....See More- 12 years ago
