The back of the house you've nailed it -- all windows in the charcoal . Do the pergoda in a similar stain , and it's done . The front though -- you say the roof is Manor Red -- it looks like a fading brown to me ? Might be the photo , but I would go redder there -- it looks in that picture that it will need doing soon ? The one area I would concentrate on though is that gable ! I'd do all the upright boards and the surrounding boards in a really crisp white , and leave the infill in primrose or beige . Subtle but it will lift it . You then have the option of leaving the windows as they are , or going all black / charcoal / monument -- the latter would look more modern , but i don't think that would be the best look for the house -- I'd leave them as they are and embrace the period .

You will need a bath with three or four tile flanges to match the one in the first photo. It has to do with complying with the building regulations for waterproofing and protecting the timber framing that is under the tiles. If the edge of the bath where it meets the tiles is not properly protected from water seeping through then concealed wet rot could start, and eventually everything will need to be ripped out, and built again. Sometimes even the timber floor joists under the bath rot out and need to be replaced. So I would do your research and co-ordinate carefully with your builder to ensure that the details are correctly built. Some builders will not go to the trouble of getting it right as they don't care if your bath falls through a rotten floor in ten years time. Quite often your choices in the bathroom should also take into account the long term functionality of the bathroom, rather than just the aesthetics. Roof-tiles -- surfmist or similar light almost bluey-silver . Gutters -- charcoal ( I'd almost go a metallic look charcoal ) The upstairs windows on the left look wooden framed -- maybe an illusion ? Personally , no matter what they are , I'd like to do all window frames in a charcoal , but the narrower looking frames would be difficult , so maybe do the window sills in a charcoal -- prep well being brick , but it will sort of underline the windows , and go horizontal to reference the gutters . The veranda rails and columns carry on that charcoal theme , and the tiles look like they might be a surfmist friendly tone , so you have another 'tie-in' already done . The garage door may work as it is , it looks lighter than a charcoal and even though it has a bit of a brown tone , I suspect it would work , but in the photo , the beam along the top of the door looks full mission brown -- change that . Charcoal may be too dark , surfmist too light , maybe try and match the door ? Charcoal on the letterbox but with big chrome or stainless numbers , or crisp white . A 1.5mtr tall leafy shrub in the garden , between the 2 downstairs windows , nothing too much wrong with the bricks , but just to add some interest and variety to the garden , and there you go , pretty much done . A more modern look , with the only big $$$ being the roof , which you were going to do anyway .
