My only comment might be that monument is grey and a nice strong grey but Lexicon is blue based, so I'd look for a gray based white or builders white which apparently has very small touch of black in it albeit it is still white. I think this would keep the undertone matched. For instance, I love green and although I probably won't paint the interior of my home green, Whisper White has a slight green undertone, so even though it's still white, it has the colour tone that I like.

There's a very similar vintage house near my work. They left the bricks as is and painted all the woodwork a sage green. Then they planted a lush green plant filled front yard. It looks great.

Hi again Grace You can get up to a 30 year warranty on Colorbond roofing. It would be easier and cheaper in the long run to just get the existing house done with a new roof while the extension is done. I've heard and seen some horror stories with roof sprayers and roofing companies in general and many are no where to be seen when the paint starts to fade or comes off in a decade or so. Get a quote for the new extension and then ask your builder/roofer you are going to spray your existing home but if he can do a good deal or discount on replacing the existing structure you may consider doing it all, at the end of the day it's a win for you and a win for them. I'm no professional , just an opinionated amateur haha ! I wouldn't paint the bricks -- the only 2 real options you have are grey ( which has been done to death IMO , so avoid ) , and white which looks tacky , again my opinion . Besides , there's nothing really wrong with the bricks and/or their colour -- they are reasonably modern . Render would spoil the lines too -- it would be trying to look like something it isn't ! It looks warm and tropical , and I like the existing colour choices , with 3 additions -- do the roof in a lighter Surfmist or similar , do the upper wall in a warm off-white , and add some colour , but in the garden -- I'd get a couple of large warm ( red/orange/yellow ) pots , and have red leaved plants , cactuses , yellow flaxes , brown grasses , some with 'desert' toned flowers . I love coloured doors too , but in this case , your house wants to blend in rather than stand out , so unless you are an extrovert personality , maybe stick with the 2 existing white doors , or maybe do them both in a mid Apricot or similar ?
