Any advice if I try to figure out some of this myself? I love your color scheme. How did you decide on that granite? I found this website too . Perhaps those cabinets are not available here but just where you are. either way I can find something similiar. Did you have any issues with ordering..getting parts.. assemely? Do you have any helpful tips for designing ? Did you actually hang them yourself? Is there anything about the cabinets that you find defective or insufficient or think could be better? We are wanting to do the same thing and have been having trouble finding examples of others using a light roof with black windows as it seems the done thing is dark roof dark windows etc. But I've found the following here on Houzz which I think shows it can work. I love the interior look of black window frames because they "disappear" and allow the view to take centre stage. Alternatively some window manufacturers can produce a different colour on the exterior and interior for you (although I think they are only on double glazed units).

I like charcoal, silver and white for aluminium frames. Either would work for me depending on the design style. Personally I do love silver (clear anodised), unfortunately many still call it daggy 1970's...... but here's another for silver.

Hi Rose, You won't see them on display at any company as I designed them and instructed the window manufacturer how to make them. They were made by Stegbar windows based on their standard Georgian windows, which are normally powder coated white. I instructed to make them in powder-coated black but to exclude the vertical divisions. I think that most aluminium window manufacturers should be able to make them - but none of them will have them on display. I don't think that they would look very effective if you were using double glazing. This project was completed over 20 years ago (yes I have been in the business that long!) so I hope that the window manufacturers are still making Georgian style sliding doors!
