Thank you oklouise those drawings have given us some good thoughts. The front door to the house is bottom left corner of the drawing and will swing against the Master Bedroom wall where it is thickest otherwise the door will swing into the lounge room so we'll have to get creative with the Master Bedroom sliding door location. Attached for reference. Gallifrey The ghosted wall you mentioned is the original wall before the renovation. It will be taken down so there won't be any wall in the bedroom, we were hoping to have an open plan Master Bedroom and Ensuite. LesleyH Good point, we'd love a nice large shower. We've had a bathtub combined shower for 20 years and it's on the narrow side.

If the red bricks weren't there, then it's probably more Edwardian? 2. There any internal paneling to lower section of walls? No 3. The bay window is a decorative feature, but are any of the other windows double-hung? No 4. You might look to the neighbouring houses to get a clearer indication of style of your house as often they will share common design features. Do you have any original documentation or plans for the house? No. The street is mainly Cal Bung(double front with heavy posts) and Edwardians. From the comments, it sounds there are overlaps in style. The overall style looks Edwardian but the porch with the red brick posts looks like a smaller version of the typical Cal Bung heavy posts. The question is what does a single front or 1.5 front Californian Bungalow look like?(Do they even exist?) I've only seen double front Cal Bungs with heavy posts.

This is the easiest way to do this! You could maybe fit a separate loo room with double vanities and shower/bath in a room together but this would look far more spacious. The door maybe able to stay right where it is or you might like to centre is with the window. The minute you have ferns, greenery and a feature out in the garden THAT becomes the focal point.
