Bathroom window covering.
Comments (45)I also have a window like that in our shower - it may, but doesn't normally get wet from the shower. I have put in a thin venetian blind in white (made from plastic) very cheap, under $5. I am in process of making an puffy austrian blind to hang above the window, for a bit of colour I am making it from a shower curtain). It will be there for looks, I may never pull it down. The venetian gives privacy and blocks the light a certain amount....See MoreBest window covering for large stacker doors?
Comments (9)although i always prefer curtains a 6m wide opening will need either a very light fabric or about 1 m either side to fully pull back to each side where blinds would be able to be raised completely above the window (assuming there's somewhere to attach them) discuss options with a window covering specialist as there are some new options that may suit you better..i also suggest to clarify flyscreening, security and ventilation options for your very wide opening as we found a more flexible and cost effective result with a door height panel of stacked awning windows next to a wide section of stacking doors so that we can open the window for ventilation without opening the doors...See MoreSo far....my new house :) FRONT VIEW - A bit of advice needed please..
Comments (49)Hi there, re the fence my choice would be the same colour as house with either same colour slats or your window surfmist both would look classic, definately NO timber here. Because you are on a corner block I'd be planting a hedge inside the fence with something like Murraya asap, Jim Henson could advise. I would consider Pleaching them up to where the slats start so that you could under plant with something pretty, I'd also consider adding garden lights as per attached photo. plus I would also consider putting "Eye lid" down lights on the exterior posts of the fence, this could add great street appeal for your wonderful very large house (is your whole family moving in. The garage, either same as wall colour or Monument is my choice. cheers,...See MoreWindow coverings for front door
Comments (12)Since you don't need privacy all the time I will suggest motorised Roman blind, position it high up under the cornice so when it's up it fits above the door, you can choose the width of the folding panels. In addition to this you can have privacy blinds attached to your door panels they could also be on remote control, it cost a bit more but it really is worth it, no cord to pull, it goes up in seconds. This system can be hard wired on your wall like a power point so you never have to replace battery. The other option is also motorised vertical blind like the one pictured here , this way you can adjust light and privacy as you like....See Moreoklouise
