Hi Sofia I definitely think brick lay would work better on the walls in the bathroom purely because you have a 30x30 on the floor and a 30x60 on the wall. You will find the tiles could look out of place trying to stack them. It would be a different matter if they did not share 1 or more dimension. You could hang your mirror so it covered about 1/4 of the "floor tile" and 3/4 of the white above the centre of the sink. Alternatively, tiling the entire back wall with the "floor tiles". The first option may make the bathroom feel smaller if the shower takes up more than 1/3 of the back wall. What a gorgeous bathroom! Would love to see vanity too. The black feature tile en masse is simply stunning- so dramatic a feature. Yes, I would want to continue the black tile theme to have consistency in the house. I would probably have black tile on the 'bathroom' side and gloss light latte on 'laundry' side, with sand tiles on floor. May I ask what your vanity/basin will be?

Hi there, tiles on the floor of a bedroom? It sounds a bit cold underfoot unless you are having underfloor heating installed, but then perhaps you are renovating in warmer climes than where I live! I would recommend going for a matte or satin finish in the bedroom as the gloss could look a little sterile.also If you have a connecting ensuite, you wouldnt want to run the risk of slipping on the floor if you have wet feet :o
