Hi Stacy, as you are building this is the right time to install what suits you and the space. Sconce lighting at eye level is the perfect position for putting on makeup, if this is where you do put on your makeup. So you want to keep this area uncluttered. Will you use the tower for medicine and other 'unglamorous' supplies? If so, you'll probably want them hidden so cabinets behind the mirror would be a good option. However, if you want a tower to display lovely items, could you recess a tower to your specifications in the wall? Now is the time to measure the space and design a solution that fits your lifestyle. There are a few downlights called or referred to as periscope D/L they can be positioned in a wall and will come out far enough to do the job but not restrict any light from the ceiling, I would never suggest only downlights for your task lighting, but they would do an adequate job, if thats the best you can do.

Yes, your towels will get a little damp opposite a rain-style showerhead. If you are determined to have one of those, it might be worth looking at enclosing the shower. You could always make the shower space wider rather than longer, then you will have a dry floor area to put your bathmat, instead of right behind the door! The towel rail could then go across the middle of the wall and have the opportunity to dry properly (especially if you get a heated one).

the top of a vanity could be 780 (approx desk or table top height is around 750) or as high as 900 which is average kitchen cabinet height but is it for tall people, short people or average sized people and, as the space under the vanity is not tall enough for anything but dust and lost pills why not make sure the tops of the sinks is no higher than 900 for comfortable height for most people and that would make the floor space 220, the counter top 760 and the top of the basins 900?
