We have four farmhouse style sinks in two different houses, and all present the same problem. It doesn't have anything to do with the material as two sinks are concrete, one stainless steel, and one composite stone. With the two kitchen sinks it's very frustrating spraying out the food particles from corner to corner. Food particles go from one side to the other, and it's very difficult to corral them to the drain. The two concrete bathroom sinks don't have enough slope, so when shaving and brushing teeth, the water and material flow to the opposite side of the sink. It's annoying to wash a 3' wide sink every time it's used. And gross if the sink isn't cleaned from side to side after every use. As a compromise, we're installing a farmhouse concrete bathroom sink with two drains and more slope. As I evaluate many things in life, a, farmhouse sink is a solutions looking for problem.

prioritise what does and doesn't work for you in your old kitchens, decide what equipment is essential for you and how much space it needs and cull everything else, don't waste money and space storing things you don't need, make sure there's a dedicated convenient spot for garbage bins, dust pan and broom and storage of food scraps, consider shallow in wall storage perfect for cans, jars, bottles and packets. Group supplies and equipment according to expected use eg enough cups and glasses for the occupants and regular visitors near the sink and kettle, everyday dinner plates stored near the stove and extras stored elsewhere. Even with very careful planning and very specific written instructions my kitchen cabinet maker put the cook top in the wrong place and 3 m of counter had to be replaced so don't assume the cabinetmaker agrees with you and have your plans scrutinised by HOUZZ to ensure that you consider all the best options for your new kitchen!!

Full residential underbench drawers are better for you, less noise. Not many options though. Williams / Skope only has the 2door - 3door - 4door type but they look very commercial, mostly stainless or glass door only.

I would be asking questions from the person who said that they needed to be an extra 120mm wide. Do they actually know how wide a LED strip is? Or have they got confused with a fluro light? This is a 300mm narrow overhead cabinets with LED strip lighting concealed behind a pelmet over the central island bench. I also used the same LED lighting strip above the curtain pelmet shining upwards, and the wall mounted overhead cupboards. "Needs to increase depth to 420mm" translates to "I could not be bothered to do something that needs a bit of extra work and thinking to make my clients happy so I will try and change their minds".
